Run Merchant

Run Merchant is a Virtual Terminal and Reporting tool from Run Payments. While transaction details can easily be found within the Run Merchant app, this guide outlines how to fetch transactional data from the Reporting API. The Reporting API provides robust transaction data, merchant funding event data (including adjustments), and chargeback data.

Usage

  1. Generate your Reporting API credentials from the Run Merchant portal. The credential generator can be found in the Settings menu.

  2. Use the Client ID and Secret generated from Run Merchant to request an access token from: https://apps.runpayments.io/ords/sprint/oauth/token.

  3. Create API calls to the Reporting API using your access token. For all Reporting API endpoints, you may target a specific attribute or multiple attributes using the URL.
